Display Videos!

*The display draws so much electricity, only 3 of the 4 colors on the 20' Mega Tree and flanking 10' color changing trees can be turned on at the same time!

Featuring 160 channels of computer control! 4 years after my first test of synchronized lights, we finally have an animated display!

The 2009 display features a record-breaking 71,000 lights in a display whose design kept in the theme of years past, but the execution took things to a whole new level. While most of the features remained similar, the middle section of the display, consisting of the 20' Mega Tree, two 10' trees, 8 mini-trees, and 2 brand new light arches, were controlled by 144 channels of light control. Each of these trees feature red, blue, green, and white lights on separate channels so that they can change colors, and the mega tree is controlled by 64 individual channels so that it can chase, spin, fade, mix, and do all sorts of crazy effects! The 10' wide arches feature 12 channels each, and jump back and forth magically. The mega tree alone has over 13,000 lights!

The other 16 channels are high-amperage relays that turn the rest of the static display on and off at night. This certainly beats the mechanical timers that didn't keep very good time that we used for years!
